Marc is not the type of person that can wake up and lay in bed all day, I on the other hand love laying in bed and if I didn't have responsibilities I probably would, well for awhile at least. This morning Marc woke up at 7:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. He told me I could keep sleeping, which I didn't realize since I am not always coherent when I am half asleep. I woke up and realized he hadn't come back to bed. When I walked into the living room and asked how long he had been up he told me he had been up for almost an hour! I felt super lazy, but it was 8:30! We decided to get an early start since Marc has today and tomorrow off from school! We went grocery shopping and got home around 11. Then we decided to was too perfect a day to sit inside, so we packed a little lunch of turkey sandwiches, sun chips, fruit snacks, snickers bars, and capri sun and headed to the park. The park we went to was the same one we watched the air show from, right by the airport. While we were eating planes would fly over as we ate. After eating we laid out on our blanket and read. It got pretty hot, so we went under a ramada to read some more. Unfortunately, our time was cut short by what appeared to be an impromptu date. One girl was trying so hard to impress her date with how healthy she eats that I could probably tell you what she eats! She was practically yelling! We couldn't stand her screaming 10 feet from us, so we left. Here are some pictures from the picnic, ignore the glare from my glasses!

We came back home around 2 and were both pretty worn out from the sun. We watched a movie and ate some delicious watermelon! Then we watched our favorite show, Sienfield! While I was getting dinner ready we watched a mini documentary about one of my all time favorite movies, The Wizard of OZ! It was really interesting, Marc and I were talking about how different "fame" is today compared to then. They even showed clips from an Ocsar show from the late 30's or early 40's! It is so different than what they do now! Anyway, after our delicious banana pancake dinner Marc said, "What is it the scarecrow sings? If I only had a _______!" I thought he was joking! I laughed and started to say "brain" as he did. It made me laugh so hard. I guess I watched that movie a few more time than he did as a kid!
So far is has been a pretty good day! It is fun not to have places to be or things to do every once and awhile! The coming weeks are just going to get more and more crazy!
